Be part of an exciting new initiative to create and optimise Macmillan branded content experiences for a range of audiences as we transform our digital estate. Joining a focussed Agile content team, you will write, edit and review content across a number of digital channels through the lens of the Macmillan brand voice. You will provide guidance to keep our content on brand as well as carry out a variety of writing and editing tasks across multiple digital channels and formats. In order to do this, you’ll have a good understanding of how brand can be embodied in digital content as well as excellent copy and digital skills. This is a dynamic and delivery-focussed role that will engage on multiple content domains during the lifetime of the Digital Transformation Programme. Macmillan’s brand is iconic and much loved and you’ll receive a comprehensive induction on our brand story, tone of voice and brand idea so that together these can be brought to life in the content you’re creating to craft a true Macmillan experience. You’ll be writing content for a broad range of audiences from the general public to specialist cancer professionals, fundraisers and volunteers, across websites, apps, email journeys and other digital formats as required. As well as excellence in digital communications, an understanding of SEO, analytics and content optimisation will be of benefit.
