The Information Security team at St Mungo’s works across the organisation to ensure the people we work with can be confident that their information is being collected and used lawfully and in a way that can help them achieve their goals.
The Data Protection Support Administrator will work with clients and managers alike to ensure that the organisation is safely stewarding the information it’s collecting. With the new data legislation recently coming into force this role is on the cutting edge of a rapidly changing landscape and placed in an organisation which has many diverse applications.
The Administrator will work with the Information Security Coordinator to ensure there is data protection compliance across the organisation by carrying out training and assisting with queries. They will also investigate potential data incidents and assist fulfilling Data Protection rights requests. Previous experience of these areas is not required, but an interest and curiosity into the area is desired.
We are looking for someone with a passion for people’s rights and for working for a charity that makes a real difference to the lives of homeless people.
