Job Advert

We’re trying to do acquisition differently.

Whether it’s the latest technology, more efficient processes, cross-organisational partnerships or brand new products, we want to maintain our place as a sector-leading fundraising programme.

We’re looking for a best-in-class Individual Giving Specialist who wants to help us make that happen.

Someone who can do the basics brilliantly – but also someone that makes things happen, in order to continually improve the programme.

We’ll need you to be a real all-rounder, who can drive through complex change to back-end data processes, but could also input creatively to new product development. But primarily – we need to get someone with the influencing skills and personal drive to make things happen and create real change.

You’ll be responsible for developing the project plans and managing through the projects that result in real change to the way Save the Children works – whether it’s refining the way we respond to humanitarian disasters, developing new products to widen our portfolio, or streamlining data processes so that we can welcome donors more efficiently. But you won’t be doing it on your own – that’s why you’ll need to be able to build great relationships across the organisation, and matrix-manage team members assigned to project teams.

This role is ideal for a direct marketing expert who is tired of delivering the same old campaigns year after year – and instead, wants to create the real changes that will lead to a more efficient programme. You’ll be working for a well-known international development charity, in a role that offers excellent learning and development opportunities. You could have the chance to visit our programmes overseas, gain exposure to a wide range of fundraising and marketing activities and project manage multi-channel campaigns on a substantial scale.

At Save the Children we are committed to the safeguarding and protection of children in our work. We will do everything possible to ensure that only those who are suitable to work with children are recruited to work for us. This post is subject to a range of vetting checks including a criminal records disclosure.

Our mission is to inspire breakthroughs in the way the world treats children and to achieve immediate and lasting change in their lives. If you share our mission, are passionate about making it happen and strongly believe you can contribute then join us and we'll give you every opportunity to succeed. We look forward to hearing from you.
