Purpose of role

The post holder will significantly raise the profile the organisation to commissioners, customers and health and social care professionals. The Marketing Executive will take responsibility for all marketing activity, including various strategies and projects as needed. They will work with the Senior Management Team to implement and develop marketing plans, including promotional/information materials, email marketing via newsletter and promotional mailings, promotion via social media and google SEO, PR opportunities, and database management.

The candidate should have extensive experience in all aspects of mainstream marketing/media. Excellent written and verbal communications skills, coupled with highly developed interpersonal skills. Must be flexible and open to changing priorities and managing multiple tasks simultaneously within compressed periods and proven ability to oversee all marketing activities.

Key tasks

  1. Take a lead on all (with the exception of fundraising) organisation’s marketing and PR tasks, objectives, strategies, and projects
  2. Oversee the production of all marketing materials, including printed documents, media advertising spots, website content, and social media accounts
  3. Regularly liaise with Senior Management Team (SMT) to discuss objectives and report on activity and updates on marketing progress and results
  4. Evaluate marketing reports and data to report on activity trends etc. to SMT
  5. Work with SMT and Senior Advocates to incorporate marketing needs into overall planning and strategy
