In recent years we have begun to develop a bold and dynamic approach to how we communicate with our research community and partners in the pharmaceutical industry.

What will I be doing?

We need a Research Communications and Marketing Executive who is passionate about digital marketing and communications and who has a strong interest in science, to support the delivery of compelling marketing campaigns to researchers.

With ever-increasing ambition in this area, this is a great opportunity for an enthusiastic and ambitious Research Communications and Marketing Executive to make an impact every day by:

  • Raising CRUK's profile with academic and industry research audiences
  • Delivering campaigns across multiple channels including email, digital, print, advertising, social media and events
  • Building strong relationships and engaging confidently with stakeholders at all levels
  • Championing evaluation, sharing best practice and innovation.

What skills are you looking for?

You'll be able to bring to the role:

  • Your solid understanding of marketing principles with experience of delivering marketing campaigns against targets
  • Your excellent verbal and written communication skills and your ability to find creative and credible ways to engage and inspire researchers
  • Your keen interest in science and desire to keep up to date with the latest findings in cancer research
  • Your ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritising and collaborating to meet deadlines
  • Your experience in developing engaging material for different audiences e.g. scientific, medical, pharmaceutical and biotechnology
  • Your consistent attention to detail
  • Your strong project management, organisation, and planning skills.
