Job: Head of IT and Security
Salary: £45,000 to £55,000 per annum, depending on experience + benefits package
Hours: 36.5 per week (willing to consider part-time / flexible working)
Location: Amersham, Buckinghamshire (accessible from London Underground Metropolitan line and Chiltern mainline services). Free office parking.

About the job
Embrace the Middle East is looking for a Head of IT and Security to be part of their Leadership team, providing strategic direction of the Charity’s IT services and overseeing day-to-day operations. This is an exciting role, providing technical leadership to the team, ensuring Embrace’s IT and security infrastructure are accessible and operational for its 38 staff based in the UK. You will play a hands-on role to project manage new technology solutions that will ultimately help us to reach our objectives. Current projects include phase 2 of the CRM upgrade (to CARENG), Office 365, Digital Assets Management, Local Area Network domain name change and ongoing upgrades of the security infrastructure, including perimeter firewalls.
We are looking for an experienced and talented IT leader to define and implement an IT strategy that supports the organisation’s objectives. A collaborative team leader who enjoys seeing others develop and flourish. Someone with enthusiasm for identifying opportunities to continually improve and strengthen the organisation’s IT and Security through emerging hardware, applications and software (e.g. cloud, BYOD). Experience of managing the following are key requirements of the role; Microsoft desktop and server operating systems, information and systems security, data protection Act 2018, communications, hardware and applications software, team leadership, project management, business continuity, product evaluation, composition and management of service level agreements.
