Here at Ambitious about Autism we are hiring! We are seeking a dynamic and self-motivated individual to join our ambitious IT Team as an IT Support Engineer.

Ambitious about Autism is the national charity for children and young people with autism. We provide services, raise awareness and understanding and campaign for change. Through TreeHouse School, Ambitious College and The Rise School we provide specialist education and support to children and young people, aged 4-25, with Autism.

About your new role...

Working as an IT Support Engineer you will:

  • Work with staff and learners across the organisation every day.
  • Analyse and resolve desktop, hardware and software issues, including presentation equipment and mobile devices, in a timely and comprehensive fashion for charity and school staff as well as pupils and young adults with autism.
  • Work with both internal and external stakeholders, to participate in the installation, developing, monitoring, maintenance, support, and optimisation of all network hardware, software and infrastructure.
  • Work with both internal and external stakeholders to investigate and develop new technologies and systems for charity and school staff as well as pupils and young adults with autism.

 Working as part of the wider IT and Estates & Facilities team, we are looking for a positive, professionally versatile and proactive individual, who places real value on helping people and making a real difference and feels confident in solving IT-related problems on their own and working independently.

Key Locations...

  • This role will be primarily based at the Ambitious About Autism campus at CONEL (College of Haringey, Enfield and North East London) in North East London.
  • The role will occasionally be required to provide cover for other IT Support Engineers' annual leave or sickness located at West Thames College, Treehouse School in Muswell Hill, North London or The Rise School in Feltham, West London.
