Mind and mental health are on the public and government’s agendas like never before. At the same time, many people with mental health problems are not able to access good quality services so there’s never been a greater need for the work we do.
Mind has seen huge growth over the last four years. This presents us with an increasing amount of fundraising opportunities but also some internal challenges to overcome to ensure that as we grow, we work as efficiently and effectively as possible.
Mind’s Fundraising department consists of five fundraising teams – Partnerships Fundraising, Public Fundraising, Workplace Wellbeing, Data and Supporter Relations and Fundraising Strategic Development; overseen by our Fundraising Director. It currently generates in excess of £35 million per annum gross income for Mind’s work.
We are looking for someone with a background in Fundraising; excellent inter-personal and communication skills; and an ability to bring people together to identify problems, find sustainable solutions and embed these into practice. This is a new role, based in our Fundraising Strategic Development team to support greater collaboration between teams and drive up the quality of our Fundraising and in so doing, the experience of our supporters. We want to ensure that our Fundraising staff are equipped with the tools and knowledge of processes and systems to be able to carry out their roles effectively, compliantly and in line with best practice, and in the best interests of people with mental health problems.
