Victim Support is looking for a Media and External Communications Lead based in London.
Victim Support is an independent charity for people affected by crime in England and Wales. We work towards a world where people affected by crime or traumatic events get the support they need and respect they deserve.
Our Media & External Communications Lead plays a critical role in ensuring that the charity is able to represent the voice of victims in the local and national media. The role sits as part of the wider Communications & Governance department bringing together all Victim Support's communications, digital, governance and brand work.
The main duties of this role are to:
To be successful you will have experience of delivering media relations across print, broadcast and digital for a complex organisation. You will have strong influencing skills, be an excellent communicator and have a proven ability to work under pressure, and to plan and deliver activities to meet tight deadlines.
