Could you be the person to help us transform the way we engage with our supporters?

We're looking for a Supporter Engagement Manager to join us on a brave journey of change as we deliver our new fundraising strategy.
 
You will need to be comfortable planning and managing large budgets, with bounds of curiosity to question 'the way things are'. You'll be driven to find new ways to inspire and engage our supporters, using insight to deliver a great experience. You won't be someone who's happy to settle with the status quo and will be excited by the prospect of the unknown.
 
If you love using creativity to solve problems, have a passion for developing people, and are committed to carving a new path for fundraising, then this job could be just the role for you.
 
Our multichannel approach means that you'll be planning and overseeing the delivery of a range of activities designed to understand our supporters and engage them from their first interaction with us, ultimately leading to long term support for the British Red Cross.

Our fundraising is critical to enabling our services that help people in crisis - whether that's in the UK or overseas, it's vital that we as a team can engage and inspire our supporters so that they choose to continue to give to the British Red Cross.

The fundraising environment has changed so dramatically that we are responding with a new fundraising strategy to ensure we take an innovative and transformative approach to how we raise funds and engage our supporters.

This role sits in the Supporter Marketing and Engagement Team. Our vision for the next 5 years is to lead the organisation in the mass engagement of a diverse community of supporters - offering them ways to give that work for them and generates income to help people in crisis.

This role might be for you if
 
You've got extensive experience in successfully creating, delivering and evaluating campaigns across a variety of direct and digital marketing channels. With broad knowledge of direct marketing trends, in/outside of a charity environment and a good knowledge of our sector and regulations.
 
You've got excellent campaign evaluation skills and are able to critically appraise fundraising materials and activity across a variety of channels.
 
You will have excellent project management, scheduling and budgeting skills, with the ability to plan and manage a variety of projects and activities to tight deadlines.

You care about developing the people you manage, ensuring they are motivated and inspired so that they can deliver their very best for our supporters. 

Closing date for applications is on 23:59; Monday 26th August with interviews to follow. First interviews to be held on 2nd, 4th and 5th September; second interviews to be held on 9th and 10th September.
