The British Museum is currently in the process of rebuilding its Website and associated Collection Online (COL) platform. This will open up the collection to new audiences in exciting and innovative ways, as well as meeting visitor needs and information. The Website and Collection Online Lead Tester role will work with the website and COL programme team and developers to draw up and execute testing plans across the whole development, to ensure the quality of the final products.
Key areas of responsibility:
With a degree or equivalent, you will have demonstrable experience in creating and delivering test plans for website developments, including complex data sets, managing testers and plans. You will have experience in writing and executing test scripts and ensuring user stories/acceptance criteria are met. Also required is experience in performance and security testing, either directly or managing third parties. You will have solid knowledge of digital platforms and CMS and knowledge of product and project management tools. (e.g. Gantt charts, Slack, Trello)
