This new role will support fundraising activity at the Royal Veterinary College through its registered charity the RVC Animal Care Trust. The post-holder will devise and deliver cohesive marketing and communications plans to support fundraising activities integrating online and offline activities and taking responsibility for the charity’s online presence.
The post-holder will plan and deliver multi-layered campaigns applying data and insight to drive evidence based decision making and improve ROI.
As an experienced marketing and communications specialist with experience across all channels including digital, social, print, PR and communications, you’ll bring strategic and innovative thinking to help us deliver our strategy by engaging with supporters and the wider public with our work. You will be skilled in managing innovative and successful multi-channel marketing campaigns and knowledgeable about the effective use of digital communication to enthuse and attract a diverse audience, working within a tight budget.
You’ll have experience in managing social media accounts, websites and using SEO/PPC to increase engagement. Your marketing plans will be driven by analytics with clear objectives and measurable outcomes.
You'll have strong organisational skills with a keen eye for detail, be flexible, and have an ability to build collaborative relationships both within the organisation and with external partners.
There is a real creative side to this role, so you need to be able to come up with new ideas, strategies and stories, whether working independently or as part of a wider team. You also need to be a great all-round communicator with proven copywriting and proof-reading skills.

The Animal Care Trust (ACT) is the Royal Veterinary College’s (RVC) registered charity. For more than 30 years we have been dedicated to raising funds to support the College’s wide range of activities aimed at improving animal health and care.
