Job Advert

Are you a direct and digital marketeer with a love of dogs? If so, this could be the job for you.

Based in Saunderton (between High Wycombe and Princes Risborough) lies the home of Hearing Dogs for Deaf People. From our picturesque training centre, we train clever hearing dogs who help deaf people to leave loneliness behind by alerting them to important and life-saving sounds and providing constant emotional support. On any given day you’ll get to meet our family of kind volunteers, our puppies and their trainers and the deaf people who you are working to help.

You’ll play an important role in raising the money we need to help deaf people. Puppy sponsorship is one of our key products and you will be responsible for growing the number of people who support us by sponsoring a puppy. Digital marketing – especially Facebook Ads – is a key channel for us, so you will need to have demonstratable experience in this area. You’ll also be responsible for our raffles, appeals and online donations.

We also have plans to develop new scalable ways to recruit supporters. One example would be selling products via our online shop, or Amazon, and then sending follow up communications which encourage further support. You would have a passion for testing, implementing and developing these ideas.

Working with a team of around 20 fundraisers and marketeers this role gives you the opportunity to take ownership of projects and significantly impact the amount of money we raise to transform deaf people’s lives.

This is a fantastic opportunity to work for a great Charity in a beautiful location.

Please send your CV and a covering letter:

  • explaining why you are a great fit for this role, and why you’d like to work for Hearing Dogs.
  • providing examples of how you’ve grown income.
  • giving an overview of your experience of using Facebook Ads.
  • and providing examples of conversion rate optimisation projects you have worked on.

There is no closing date. We will continue looking until we find the right person for the role.
