Globally, it is estimated that around 70 million young people - more than one in ten - are out of work. Having built effective programmes and strong partnerships to help empower young people and support them into jobs and self-employment in the United Kingdom; public and private organisations around the world have been turning to Prince's Trust International in their search for solutions to youth unemployment and to learn from the experience of The Prince's Trust in helping young people into work.
As we move into our exciting 5-year strategy we aim to significantly upscale our operations and to make a tangible and sustainable difference. We know that digital services will provide the opportunity to reach and support very many more young people around the world than we otherwise could which is why we are investing in a new role of 'Digital Delivery Lead'.
Building on work with our sister charity, The Prince's Trust in the UK, we are looking for someone to help develop opportunities for our digital business simulation game for young people and develop other exciting new flexible digital experiences, including enhanced learning content and tools to give young people support to start a business or get a job.
In addition to developing our own digital products and services,we are also very keen to partner with other organisations that have their own existing technology, and use our expertise in youth work, volunteering,education, enterprise and employment to enhance the content or experiences of young people and improve their lives. This role will be responsible for developing these potential partnerships and taking forwards the digital aspects of these.
We are looking for someone with the confidence to advise our senior leadership team on our strategic approach to digital, as well as being an able project manager in their own right. As such, the successful candidate will be a dynamic and creative "all-rounder" who will enjoy working in a fast-paced environment and can make things happen. The successful candidate will have the benefit of being a member of the larger digital team at Prince's Trust in the UK and the peer support and specialist expertise available there.
