The IM&T Directorate is going through an exciting period of change in our role as a critical enabling support service to deliver the Legion’s vision for 2021.
We are seeking a Head of IT Operations who will have key role in delivering the Technology Refresh & Infrastructure Transformation as we move our services to the cloud.
You will lead a team of 5 permanent staff and 5 contractors comprising of Systems Engineers, Senior Systems Engineers and a Technical Architect covering Business As Usual and Project delivery encompassing all components around Infrastructure and End User Computing devices.
Providing a third line technical support to all our 1900 staff across the Legion, the IT Operations team ensure all escalations are handled consistently and efficiently with a strong focus on customer service.
The successful candidate will have strong interpersonal skills to engage effectively with a range of audiences internally and externally. Reporting into the Chief Information Officer, the role will work alongside the Head of Service Delivery, Head of Solutions Delivery and Head of IT Projects in seeking ways and opportunities to improve the service provided to our customers.
