Parents And Children Together - PACT - has been building and strengthening families since 1911.

PACT helps hundreds of families every year through outstanding adoption and award-winning therapeutic support and inspirational community projects across London and the south of England.

PACT is one of the UK’s leading independent adoption agencies, placing children with secure and loving families and supporting them with specialist therapeutic support. Our award-winning FACTS service includes counselling, Theraplay, creative art therapy and life story work which help children to overcome difficulties in childhood, adolescence and early adulthood which have resulted from early trauma and neglect.

PACT also runs community projects supporting vulnerable children and adults facing a range of issues including domestic abuse, homelessness and debt. Our current community projects include the Alana House women’s community programme,and the Recovery Toolkit programme. Our vision is to help even more families in these ways and to design and provide quality services where there is currently unmet need.

We have been at the forefront of adoption services for over 60 years, working with local authorities across the country.  With our outstanding rating with Ofsted, we work with a high degree of flexibility and innovation and are proud to support PACT adopters from the moment we meet and through the lifetime of each family’s adoption journey. We deliver this support in a wide and holistic range of services to meet the needs of our families; one of these is our flagship Adopter Hub.  The Adopter Hub ( www.theadopterhub.org ) is an online support service for adopters (both PACT and external) and practitioners which offers a suite of support packages including peer support via email and webchat adopter discussion forum, a range of resources using audio visual media, and eLearning .  PACT is looking for a digital officer to join The Adopter Hub team to provide robust technical expertise to deliver a smooth delivery including CMS and design development, user maintenance and support, content management, editing audio visual media as well as problem solving and ongoing maintenance.  This is a fantastic opportunity for a creative individual with excellent IT skills to join a team passionate to develop our support services.
