What you’ll do as part of our team: Devise, run and analyse digital marketing campaigns to attract and engage new audiences with us across digital platforms Work with departments across the organisation including Campaigning, Activism and Fundraising colleagues to create effective marketing campaigns to meet the organisation’s objectives Take ownership of our paid digital marketing testing strategy, documenting and sharing results across the organisation so we can learn and evolve together Contribute and assist in the development of the digital marketing strategy with suggestions to increase conversion rate About you We are looking for someone to join our fast-moving Digital Team. Working closely with our Senior Digital Marketing Specialist, you'll be our expert on all things paid digital marketing; devising and delivering innovative digital campaigns that attract new audiences to the organisation. Creative, curious and courageous, you’ll have the ability to transform ideas, concepts and consumer insights into digital campaigns that inspire people to act for human rights. You will communicate effectively with colleagues, agencies, freelancers both in person and in writing; and have strong influencing and negotiating skills. You will build excellent working relationships, inspiring stakeholders at all levels. You'll thrive in the ambitious environment in which we operate, and you’re able to plan and prioritise your workload according to organisational need. About the role Amnesty International UK are looking for a Direct Marketing Executive to join their Individual Giving Team for a period of secondment until November 2020. In this key role, you’ll help to deliver effective direct marketing strategy – driving income for Amnesty International UK. You will provide support on a wide range of campaigns, for example: direct mail, telemarketing, social media, email and others. You will work closely with external agencies to ensure all campaigns are delivered to the highest standard, within deadlines and on budget. About you To rise to the challenge, you’ll need experience of managing direct marketing campaigns, and an understanding of fundraising principles and techniques. Excellent planning and scheduling skills mean you’ll have no problem handling multiple projects, while the ability to analyse and interpret numerical/statistical data will stand you in good stead. And since you'll be building relationships with external agencies as well as other Amnesty UK staff, excellent communication skills are vital.
