What you’ll be doing We’re looking for a new Communications and Events Support Officer to help engage our people and tell our story. You’ll join the organisation at a busy and exciting time, with the opportunity to be involved in a broad range of communications activity. Working closely within a small team, you’ll play a key role in developing content and ideas for our communications and engagement strategy. You’ll be involved in writing everything from articles to presentations, planning events, helping us roll out new digital platforms and in developing the way we communicate with our people. You’ll also use your great organisational skills to contribute to the team’s administrative tasks and to keep our major communications projects running smoothly. About you Ideally you’ll have: The ability to write brilliantly, to tell a clear story and develop content for different audiences. An aptitude for using digital platforms, with an understanding of how these are used to communicate different messages. The ability to build great relationships with different people. Excellent organisational skills with experience in managing your own time and improving ways of doing things. At least one year’s experience in communications or a related field such as media, PR, journalism, digital communications or events planning (or equivalent). Other details Salary is £23,094 + £2,759 London Weighting, and a benefits package including 28 days annual leave.
