Are you a talented marketing professional with a strong view of the bigger picture? Can you help us transform our email marketing and planning? What’s the role? In this pivotal role, you will have overall responsibility for managing the planning and delivery of our email communications. Using your expert knowledge, strong analysis skills, and curious mind, you’ll challenge and help Macmillan to deliver the best possible experience for our customers. You’ll work with an Email Executive to plan and deliver sector-leading email marketing campaigns, which directly support people affected by cancer, and help fund our services. You’ll also lead on stakeholder management and build great relationships with marketing teams to ensure we meet their needs and our customers’. With overall responsibility for improving the Email Marketing team processes, you’ll ensure that we maximise our resources and work as efficiently as possible introducing new email technologies, performance reporting and training to help us do so. An expert resource, you’ll provide advice and guidance on email projects impacting across the organisation and work collaboratively with teams in a changing fundraising climate. This is a real opportunity to help drive a step-change in the way we deliver email marketing at Macmillan in the coming years. Who are we looking for? An expert marketer with line management experience, you should be used to working with and building relationships with stakeholders at various levels, from technical specialists and campaign managers to senior management. You should be able to think strategically and understand the link between email marketing and the organisations objectives overall. Excellent project management skills are needed as well as versatility and exceptional communication to take on the challenge of working on a diverse set of projects with multiple stakeholders spanning the organisation. You’ll have a curious nature and be comfortable to challenge and improve the way we do things, always looking to drive efficiency and best practice. What can we offer you?
