We are looking for an exceptional marketing professional to lead creative marketing, audience engagement and digital strategies at Girlguiding to promote Girlguiding’s brand, drive volunteer recruitment and encourage girls to join us. The successful candidate will be leading a department of four teams including Marketing, Digital, Strategic Communications and Commissioning (design and production). Your areas of responsibility You will develop and deliver engagement strategies to reach more volunteers and girls, applying learning from external trends to ensure that Girlguiding remains in tune with the most effective and successful communications tools for its audiences. You will build and promote Girlguiding’s brand, building awareness and shifting perceptions to drive volunteer recruitment, and encourage girls to join us You will lead and deliver an ambitious digital transformation roadmap You will create a high performing team culture across a department of four teams, that is ambitious and passionate about Girlguiding’s vision. Your skills We are looking for a leader who can: develop and deliver successful and large-scale strategic marketing and audience engagement plans build constructive relationships with a broad range of internal and external stakeholders develop and promote charity or youth brands develop successful digital communication strategies and large scale digital products. This role sits within the Marketing and Communications directorate. The directorate is the central communications function for the charity that also includes our PR and Advocacy department and Fundraising department.
