This is an exciting time for our Individual Giving team.  Following the merger, and with a desire to significantly increase income, we have an opportunity to define and expand our legacy giving, supporter journeys and merchandise programme. This Senior Manager role is responsible for generating income (c. £2m per year) through legacy giving, supporter journey activity and merchandise sales. The successful candidate will build and manage the programme across media channels such as Direct Mail, Telemarketing, Digital and Events. About you We are looking for an experienced direct marketing manager who is passionate and enthusiastic about what they do. The successful candidate will be passionate about legacy fundraising in particular and committed to delivering the best supporter experiences. The role of technical and systems lead is an exciting opportunity for a skilled technical database expert. As part of the charity merger, there is a project to deliver one CRM system going forward. This role will play a key role in delivering some of that work, while also supporting the connecting tools and systems that work with the CRM to best create an effective and efficient ongoing data infrastructure. Working with an expert team of consultants and a strong and skilled in-house team, this role will assess and support how our systems fit together, what business developments are needed, and also assist with technical support for some of our systems. About you We are looking for a technical data expert with strong ability to explain complex data work to both technical and non-technical audiences. Ideally we are looking for someone with outstanding abilities in SQL, combined with a good understanding of charity databases (ideally Blackbaud CRM) and the import and export tools that work around them. Successful candidates would have experience of integrating databases with other systems (finance, digital) and in analysing and assessing business requirements. We’re Breast Cancer Care and Breast Cancer Now, the UK’s largest breast cancer charity – and we’re dedicated to funding research into this devastating disease, as well as providing life-changing support to those affected by breast cancer. The role If you have a commitment to raising money, experience and passion for high quality marketing and a desire to work on some of the sectors most high profile mass participation products, then we would love to hear from you. This role is focussed on the effective planning and delivery of our integrated warm and cold marketing campaigns, responsible for inspiring over 35,000 people to take part in our events each year. You’ll lead on the strategic planning of our campaigns, will define and have recruitment plans signed off and will oversee the delivery by the Marketing Officer, as well as delivering aspects yourself. We’re looking for a passionate, experienced, creative marketing enthusiast with a great eye for detail, amazing project management skills and a drive, passion and determination to make a huge difference. About you This is an excellent opportunity to further develop your already extensive marketing skills in the world of mass participation fundraising. To do this you will have an understanding of mass participation fundraising with excellent multi-tasking skills and attention to detail.  Helpful and collaborative in your approach, your marketing experience, twinned with an interest in relationship fundraising are essential.
