 About Parentkind

We are Parentkind, a leading charity that supports and champions all the ways parents can participate in education. We are the leading membership organisation for Parent Teacher Associations in England, Wales and Northern Ireland. We also provide training and support to teachers, governors and parents to build successful home-school relationships. We are looking for a Website Manager to join our Corporate Services Team.

This is a really exciting to join Parentkind as we embark on a project to redesign our website. During the Covid-19 Pandemic the interest in the views of parents has risen and we have seen a marked increase in our profile, bringing substantial traffic to our website. Our new website manager will oversee the design and build of a new website (planned for launch in February 2022) and then manage this website going forward.

 At Parentkind we live our parent friendly values through the way that we support our employees. We offer flexibility around working arrangements to all our team including flexitime, part time working, working from home etc.

During the Covid-19 pandemic we are working fully remotely from home. When circumstances allow, we expect to transition to a hybrid way of working enabling our team to work from home as well as from our Tonbridge Head Office, depending on their own circumstances and what best fits their approach to work.

 

Who you are: You will possess outstanding skills in website project management and will be able to take a strategic view of best practice and innovation in technology to enhance Parentkind’s website. You will possess a deep knowledge of the range and capabilities of modern web technologies, together with strong project management skills gained in an agile, digital environment.

 The role: The Website Manager is a key role in future direction of Parentkind and achieving our Strategy. The Website Manager is responsible for managing our website to support our social enterprise and charity’s strategic objectives as well as developing and implementing a new website during 2021.

 

Job Type: Full-time (35 hours a week), 12 month fixed term contract (with potential to extend).

Salary: £28,000 to £32,000 per year depending on experience, plus attractive benefits package.
