ICNARC (Intensive Care National Audit and Research Centre)

The Intensive Care National Audit & Research Centre (ICNARC) is a health audit and research charity which aims to improve the quality of critical care through the provision of high quality information to those working in critical care.

We do this through our fully registered Clinical Trials Unit (supporting a broad range of externally funded research, including randomised controlled trials, observational and methodological studies) and our comparative national clinical audits. Substantial, multi-year grant funding supports our broad portfolio of national and international collaborative research studies conducted to influence and inform the policy and practice of adult and paediatric emergency and critical care in the UK and globally.
