East Midlands Housing Group are recruiting a Director of ICT & Digital Services on a permanent basis. Director of ICT & Digital Services vacancy at East Midlands Housing Group based in Coalville. £75000 - £85000 per annum plus 26 days annual leave & generous benefits package. This post is subject to DBS clearance. Hays IT & Digital are working in partnership with East Midlands Housing Group to recruit a Director of ICT & Digital Services on a permanent basis. This is an exciting time to be joining emh, as a leading housing and care & support provider in the region they are about to embark on an ambitious transformation programme which will change the way they deliver services to their customers. The digital and ICT offering will be at the centre of this change and they are investing heavily in infrastructure, systems and staff. emh group’s current ICT is predominately an on-premise infrastructure delivering applications and SaaS solutions to 1100 users. The VMware virtual infrastructure hosts 80 live MS windows server, which includes Citrix XenApp servers to deliver core applications to end-users; the Cisco VOIP telephony solutions is deployed across 40 sites and the Enghouse contact solution supports 100 agents. As part of the transformation programme, emh have started to implement a new MPLS SD-WAN, MS 365 to utilise Office 365, Windows 10, MS enhance security features, and are also upgrading thier MS Windows server environment and applications, refreshing their Zerto DRaaS and Veeam BaaS environments to continue to support the current business applications and to enable them to change the way they access and deliver services. We are looking for a leader that can provide a clear vision for East Midlands Housing Group to realise the benefits of relevant technologies, leading on innovation and improvements and delivering excellent service standards. Principal duties and responsibilities: • Lead on the implementation of the recently developed Digital Strategy, ensuring that it continues to support the delivery of the Group Business plan and future requirements of the Group. • Lead on the delivery of substantial transformational projects. Embracing digital to deliver enhanced solutions to optimise operational effectiveness for employees and to create seamless customer focused processes and services. • Lead, develop and implement a comprehensive customer focused, secure, efficient and accessible ICT service. • Represent EMHG to external organisations, adopting best practice and tracking emerging trends in ICT to provide a strategic advantage to the Group. • To support the governance structures for ICT including the Executive Board and Project Groups. • Lead on the management and control of the revenue and capital budget for ICT, ensuring value for money and compliance with financial regulations. • Develop, implement and test the Disaster Recovery Plans for ICT establishing contingent arrangements and participating in wider business continuity arrangements. • Be a member of the leadership group, participating in cross functional activities and working groups in support of the wider corporate objectives. In order to apply for this role, you must have the following skills, knowledge and experience: • Educated to degree level or equivalent • Experience in a leadership role delivering IT & Digital transformational change • A proven agile leader of digital & technology teams with strong people skills and the ability to quickly form effective multi-disciplinary teams. • Thorough understanding of mainstream ICT technologies at a strategic and operational level. • Experienced in change management in a complex environment covering a range of functions. • Able to lead and motivate a large team in the delivery of a customer focused service. • Confident in presenting to technical and non-technical staff and able to produce complex reports for Board and senior staff. • Technical expert in relation to latest technologies. • Supportive of the Groups values.
